Questions

Why is sleep the most boring thing on earth?

Why is putting away folded laundry the hardest thing?

Why do I not care about elections at all this year?

Why do you live so far away?

**************************************************

Update Review on New TV:

Chuck- I watched 2.5 episodes and that couldn't even hold my attention. We're through. Not even good enough as background while crafting.

Journeyman - Other Half and I are actually watching this one together. We're in. I keep waiting for a slip-up in Kevin McKidd's American accent.

Life - I don't think I can, not even for Soames Forsyte. However, good enough as background while crafting.

Samantha Who? - HILARIOUS.

The Amazing Mrs. Pritchard- I love Jane Horrocks.

The Amazing Race - Goth couple? We were giggling. I love that one couple almost had a total meltdown on the first leg of the race. Pace yourselves!

I LOVE the new look! HOTTTTT! And I know that sleeping is boring, but sometimes I get really excited about getting to do it... Like I'll be eating dinner with someone and they'll be saying something and I'll be thinking to myself, "I get to go to sleep in four hours." And it makes me happy.
And I've basically stopped folding my laundry... I just kinda pile it into my drawers, or hang it up.... I highly recommend hanging as many things as possible.
The elections will only get exciting when the candidates start going on those shows where washed up celebrities box each other... Every candidate should have to fight angry old Screech.

Totally loving your new look.

I'm totally NOT missing my TV shows. Not even The Office. No lie.

And because I think I'm so smart after being married to my husband, I know that the plane in your header is a Lockheed Vega--like the one Amelia Earhart flew. Impressed? You should be.

I absolutely love the new look. And the new avatar.

And yes on all counts. Well, except the living so far away part.

I hope that Nathan & Jennifer do stick around, if for no other reason than the drama. "UH! This is the HARDEST THING I've EVER had to do in my WHOLE LIFE!" They each said that, like, three times.

And that goth couple can haul it in a foot race.

Do you watch Pushing Daisies? I can't remember if you already said.

Yes, I do! I almost gave up, but now I think it's found its own rhythm. I was bugged at the beginning because it was so similar to Amelie, it felt like a rip off. Now, however, it's hit a stride and has enough distinguishing characteristics that I'll keep watching.

I'll add my compliments on your new look.

Is this why I can't sleep at night--because it's boring?

And just so you have a little somthing to look forward to when the kids get a little older...we have a rule in our home that everyone gets to put away their own laundry (except the youngest which is spoiled beyond belief and is going to be tough to train). Even better, I didn't even fold a single item of clothing over the summer, thanks to those extra summer chores!

LOVING the goth couple. I agree with ~J. . .really "the Hardest thing I've ever done" ? Honey, this is the FIRST leg. I also love the Chinese Dad, and the Grandpa.

Oooh, I love your new look.

Putting away folded laundy is THE one things that I hate the most...as well as unloading the dishwasher. Why?

Sleep, not boring, loving it these days...

As for shows, I also couldn't get into Chuck. I haven't watched the other ones (that is what summer is for). I am way behind on my TV viewing. I have liked Dirty Sexy Money... it is easy and frothy...

Love the new look. You are cool

I LOVE Dirty Sexy Money! It's so clever and well written.

I hate unloading dishwasher too. I usually compromise with Other Half. If he'll put away dishes, I'll do them and clean the kitchen.

Also, Livs, I do the opposite:
Ugh, only four more hours until I HAVE to go to bed...

LOVE the new look!
Sleep and I have had a rocky love affair, we were back on last night.

The only show you listed that I've watched is Samantha Who! LOVE IT!

The blog looks fantastic!

I disagree about sleep and putting away folded laundry, but I agree about Jane Horrocks. She was also the most charmingly fiesty little heroine in the the Storyteller series many years ago. Oddly enough, the guy who's playing her husband in Mrs Prichard (Steven Macintosh) was also in that series. And of course Prichard also has Janet McTeer, who's fantastic. How could the series be bad??

Too bad about Chuck. The teasers looked kinda interesting.

I'm excited for the AR - I'm not sure it'll beat last season with the Charla and Mirna. I loved how they would try to communicate with locals by talking in an accent. I still laugh about it when I think about it.

Cool new look! Do you watch "Office?" I definitely agree about laundry. And since I don't live so far away, maybe we could swap laundry and fold each other's? That might be easier?

p.s. LOVED your costumes!

Amen to the elections!! Every time someone starts talking about it I imediately start snoring.

Could be a problem. Or just an awesome defense mechanism.

You know how I feel about you and T.V. We are kindred spirits. DSM has made it's way into our rotation, as well as Pushing Daisies. Mostly because I wish I could dress like Chuck. Looks like I'm going to have to cue up Amazing Race too. Goth people fascinate me. Did anyone see that episode of Married Away that featured the Goth couple where the groom wore eyeliner, the bride wore a black dress and veil, and they took wedding photos in a cemetery? I watched the whole thing with my mouth hanging open.

Luh-huve the new template, I think I'm ready for an upgrade too...

Love the new look!

I totally started watching Mrs. Pritchard and, even though it's actually quite boring, can't seem to tear myself away. Jane Horrocks is amazing.

I am loving Journeyman myself. It follows Heroes, so I'm a happy lady. Hooray for Monday night tv!

Hot makeover! I love it!

Yeah, Chuck blows.

I love Pushing Daisies -and I agree, at first I was little unsure, but it has totally grown on me.

No Life for you? I'm crushing on Mr. Hot Redhead. Gimme some of that, thank you.

Sleep isn't boring, you're just not paying attention enough to remember the fun you have.

Sleep is my third favorite thing!

I can put folded clothes away gladly; it's folding the clean clothes that is the hardest thing. I still have a pile from 3 days ago sitting in a chair in my room. There is a new pile sitting on my bed.

My new favorite things are the gingerbread cupcakes with lemon frosting from Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World. A. MAY. ZING!

I love your new layout.

Your blog's new look is GREAT! I like the easy-to-the-eyes baby blue as your choice for the background color.

Everyone knows you're a pretty lady! Said that, I'll miss your crazy-faced old avatar... I wonder if you can photoshoped just the head/face to be pasted to your body-HOT new one. Hmmm? :)

I'm also think sleep is a waste of time but neccesary for us (Moms of more than one kid!)

DIRTY, SEXY, MONEY is my new favorite show! I love it! Thanks for the tip, I wouldn't have watched it if wasn't for you.

By the way your new site is fab!

I love what you've done with the place.

Putting away laundry IS the hardest thing on earth, you are right there.

I don't live far away at ALL. (At least not yet.) Oh - were you not talking to me? How embarrassing.

I actually still really like Chuck. I think it is getting better as it goes along. Liked it last night a LOT. Like Sarah and Chuck.

I half-watch Journeyman, while working and occasionally turning around. Last night I spent a lot of time turned around. I think it's getting better.

Have not seen Samantha Who. Amazing Race - the poor donkeys. Poor, poor donkeys.

Heroes sucks this year. S-U-C-K-S.

blogger ate my comment again. that sucks because it was witty and funny, and i can't remember it anymore.

I do so like your header.

Is 6000 miles really that far away??

I still haven't given Journeyman a chance- maybe next week. And yes- I'm loving the Amazing Race- and loving the Goth couple, it's just too hilarious if they loose it will be because of all their props and make-up!
