Today was supposed to be very cold. I wore my favorite straight leg jeans (which are on their last threads) because they are tailored for the flats I still have to wear. The white tee is from Shade (I love their stuff.) The rust, cream, and red marled large knit A-line cut sweater is Anthropologie (I got it for a song on clearance.) The sweater is very warm despite having a scoop neck. Technically, I need to be careful with larger items on top (I'm an apple) and chunky knits are a very bad idea. However, I love the cut of this sweater, and while it appears chunky, it's not actually that thick. If it were to have a high neck, or a turtleneck, that would be the kiss of death, but the scoop is quite lovely. The awesome turquoise necklace is from a local jewelry designer who makes drool-worthy pieces at unbelievably affordable prices. And NO, you can't have her name, she's all mine for a little bit longer.
Anyway, it's always a risk wearing a big sweater with a shirt under you don't think anyone will see.
The sweater was perfect for outside, but inside it was very hot. Ugh. I couldn't take off the thing because the shirt under was way too tight ahem. So I suffered with the mini-sweats all day. I hate wardrobe regrets.
