Shopping with Friends at Gymboree - Giveaway

These two are the best of friends; they play all morning long, laughing, and chasing until they collapse with giggles. It's never a big deal to take them along with me shopping since they entertain each other. They love to come to Gymboree since there are two seats and cartoons waiting for them while I shop for deals.

I'm a big fan of Gymboree clothing for my kids. A few years ago I decided that I was done buying cheap, disposable clothes that couldn't last through a wash, let alone still look decent enough to be a hand-me-down. Buy fewer, but better clothes. I donated five bags of clothes from my family and cut my laundry down by half (it was one of the best decisions I made for my sanity!)

Right now Gymboree has a Refer-a-Friend promotion: if you bring a friend to shop at Gymboree with you, you BOTH get 25% off of your purchase when you sign up for Gymboree Rewards (I'm a member; it's free.) Proximo picked out this penguin shirt that was only 8$, and Refer-a-Friend would have knocked another 25% off our purchase. Not bad, gang, not bad.

You have a chance to shop with a friend, too! I've giving away a $75 gift card to Gymboree.

All you have to do is leave a comment and I'll pick a winner at random.

I know, no crazy hoops, "likes", or follows, just comment (sorry.)

HURRY! You only have until December 6th to enter.

Thanks to Gymboree for sponsoring this giveaway, because they know you need to shop for Christmas.

p.s. This is my Gymboree store manager Kym, know what she's doing? Used her pricing gun to mark how much was left on my gift card so I don't have to guess. HOW GENIUS IS THAT?

p.p.s. I got these faux fur toggle boots for Lulu because could you DIE?

***********CLOSED************
Congratulations to jorjalea for being the random winner!

Love Gymboree! I swear--I need a friend with me there, because I never know how to decide what to get!

P.S. Those boots ARE to die for ... but they wouldn't stay white for more than about 30 seconds after I got them! :)

I hate cheap clothing (like every pair of leggings from h+m) but I still shop there.. Also, this makes me so excited for my littles to be friends + accomplices.

Gymboree was one of the few brick and mortar stores where I was able to find clothes for my premie baby. Those tiny pajamas make me feel all nostalgic now that he's a big chunky 9-month-old!

Alyson said...

I've never been to Gymboree. I would love to check it out!

I agree! I've implemented a lifetime ban on a certain naval-related retailer because of their cheap, disposable clothes. Gymbo rocks!

What an awesome giveaway! And yes, putting the amount left on the giftcard is so genius. Why don't more places do this?

My favorite clothes my kids wear always come from Gymboree. And sometimes, I really wish they would make that exact same adorable kids' shirt in my size.

I have two boys back to back, so I love higher quality clothes that can last through both of them.

Rachel Q said...

I like Gymboree because they had skorts for older girls when for whatever reason every other store this summer didn't carry them in my daughter's size.

I am going to totally admit I have a huge weakness for Gymboree, you know why? I love that I don't have to think to make everything match. I love that they have "collections" so that if I buy a few things from a collection I can mix and match to make tons of different options.

Awesome giveaway.

We're expecting a little girl in February. Of course she needs some furry toggle boots!

Miss Shelly said...

When the girl was in preschool she had this yellow flowered dress from Gymboree that she just loved. She is wearing it in about half of all the pictures we took of her from that time frame. We don't shop there much anymore for the girl, but when the boy needs something dressy, it's usually one of the places we visit.

I love Gymboree - their clothes are soft and stretchy and keep their shape when they wash. I love the Gymmies, I just got the baby his Christmas pajamas from there. I would be so thrilled to win!

My sister has four boys and she shops almost exclusively at Gymboree. Those clothes have been through her boys, and both of my boys. AND SOMEHOW THEY STILL LOOK NICE. Needless to say, we are fans. Also, is it creepy that I can tell from your pictures that you are at the Riverwoods Gymboree? That is actually my preferred Gymboree store.

Stepper the Mighty said...

Uh...for rillz? You are the nicest, EVER! Thanks for the chance to keep my kids from going nekkid!

Kim said...

Shopping plus friends? What is wrong with that? NOTHING! YAY!

bjahlstrom said...

My little baby is six months old now, and all the newborn clothes as gifts are of course too small. We're entering the stage of actually needing to BUY our clothes?! Imagine that!

Brittney said...

Love Gymboree! I have three boys close in age and the clothes make it through all of them.

Looks like an awesome place for kids clothes. I can see what you're saying about the cheap clothes found at certain bargain stores, they fall apart pretty quickly. I would love to win and get my 10 month old some new clothes for his birthday. :)

Since I live in a warm climate I only have summer clothes for my wee one. Well, we're going to visit our family where it's actually cold, and I'm dreading having to buy a whole new wardrobe we'll only use for two weeks. It would be awesome if Gymboree paid for it instead!

LauraJJ said...

Oh Gymboree has been around for so long and has such a great quality and name we can trust for the BEST clothes! Carter has a couple pairs of their pajamas and they are so warm!
