I know! But in the morning when Derek says goodbye, and hands over Kiki, she smells like clean-Derek, and I love it.
But I'll go you one step further and say that I wish that if people really need to wear perfume, they would use just a little. Not so much that when they walk into the room, you suddenly have a coughing fit trying to clear your lungs. There are so many people out there with breathing problems that need to be considered. (I have asthma, and lots of fragrances close my airways.)
oh, that's a cute, cute, cutie pie of a babe. and you made me laugh with your comment about antiques roadshow...that did cross my mind...but for my purposes that vanity is SO much better off slathered in white paint. hope i didn't kiss a fortune, or worse, a moment of fame on antiques roadshow, goodbye in the doing.
Was that an excerpt out of Anna Nicole Smith's diary? She complained a lot in there about her boyfriend cheating on her with "other women". Just wondering...
Tiffany- I don't mind the comments, but I think they're funny. I mean, they can look like me one day and Other Half the next, you know? Babies are shifty creatures.
I have to agree that the comments are just funny. One day you are told, "Oh my, he is your twin!" and the next day it's, "Oh my goodness, he looks just like his daddy!" And then there's always the one that says, "Man, he doesn't look like either of you!".
Seriously, folks. Sometimes I think they say something along those lines just because they think they have to throw who the baby looks like into the "new mother with baby" conversation. funny.
He doesn't look like your profile pic - that's for sure :) wink wink.
I did NOT make the nursing pillow; it's a Boppy. Why mess around with something that's already engeineered perfectly! I got a new mod cover for it from Target Online.
i know this is my second comment on this post, but every time i come to see if you've contributed anything new and wonderful to the blogosphere and i see that cute little baby face i morph into one big mushy maternal smile. so sweet!
The worst is when my little baby girl is held by a man with cologne and she ends up smelling like old man all day. It makes my stomach churn! Glad I'm not the only one.
On a related note, when my little brother was visiting my toddler got into his bag and put his NASTY deodorant all over her toys and body. My entire house smelled like dude for weeks afterwards. I'm not one for messing with smells and this was WAY over the line.

He is BEA.U.TI.FUL!!
That is the very reason why the hubby won't let certain people hold our little one! Glad to see he isn't the only one out there who feels that way.
Already out there carousing, is he? What a little ladies' man! ;)

He is precious and I want to hold him but I don't smell like anything but Toad's lavender lotion. I hope.
Precious.
I get jealous when I pick up my cat and I can smell that my sister or my mom have been holding him.
What are you going to do in 18 years?
Don a turban, giant sunglasses and sit alone in a dark room.
But I'm pretty sure that's what I'd be doing no matter what.

Amen. I get perfume headaches as it is. Can't stand when people bathe in the junk.
Babies should not smell like perfume. period. I had to write period because there was a period already. :)
How do you feel about the comments on "who he looks like" when he is so little???

Sue, yes, yes it certainly was.

Today, Proximo smelled sweetly like cjane.
He's growing nicely and cutely.

I hate when blogger eats my comment.
What I wanted to say is I miss baby scent. And he is so sweet I want to snuggle him right this minute. But I can't.
Sweet picture, clever post!
PS: I like the trendy nursing pillow, is that one of your creations? The pastel colors are just right!
I so understand that and I am exactly the same way!

When do I get to come snuggle him...perfume free?
I'm working from the house which means I'm always at home. If you don't mind snuggling in a sty, come on over!

That kid's got a cute chinny-chin-chin.
I think I'd feel right at home, may I come, too?
Funny how protective/territorial we are, huh? I feel the same way about my boys...they are MINE. :)
Funny you should put up cookies 'n cream. That has been my craving as of late.
licious.

He's precious, A. So very precious. Where's my husband? I want another one!
He's so cute! And he should definitely smell like you. Hands down. You and baby soap.
