But Jeremy spoke in class today.
(Hoot Hoot.)
The good Lord took it away from me.
can i get a hallelujah?!?
i'm sending this link to my brother and his 2 best friends who would go gay for eddie vedder in a heart beat if given the opportunity.
Ouch. That's all I can say, really.
I disagree. Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage.
**before all you yay-hoos go all nuts on me for saying that, I KNOW that line is not from Pearl Jam. If you point out the obvious, it just makes you look stupid. And contagious.**
Ok...
Sorry, but I rather like them.
hmmm. a penny for your thoughts.
It's the same, nothing new, and all they ever play is Ten.
Jeremy spoke: he wants his name back.
Let's just say I didn't get it in '92 either.
But I would be delighted, Phread, if you started wearing your flannels again. The fashion victims chew their charcoal teeth.
I've never even heard of 'em.
Back in the day, I was trying to come up with a list of which bands would have staying power like the Beatles. And Pearl Jam was my vote for most likely to always be good. Ohhhh, how foolish I was!
I spoke to Jeremy's wife on the phone today...
Yeah, so I always thought the song Better Man (is that what it's really called?) said "She can't find the buttermilk." Which I guess I could write a song about some day. Sometimes I can't find it in my fridge. To my teenage mind it made sense.
I still like Pearl Jam. I'm not following their tour bus (are they touring these days?) or buying their albums, but I wouldn't change the station if they came on the radio.
Here's a band I don't get--Bare Naked Ladies. They're so annoying they render me homicidal.
Now I feel like I must send my husband to read your blog. Because if there was ever a man who can't let go of his high school addiction to Pearl Jam, it's my husband.
And it's annoying.
First time Dizzle ever played guitar and sang for me, it was "Last Kiss." Did the oowooowooohs and everything.
So I hope you'll understand that I have to leave just a tiny portion of Pearl Jam in my heart.
I am so excited for the coming installments of TIDG.
Come on, it reminds me of 34 Felt Hall in good old Heritage Halls!
I'm so glad "I don't get it" is back!! I was just thinking of it the other day when I saw a big metal star on the front of someones house!!
I agree 100%.
Don't call me daughter!
I am purposely hanging some stars in my house. Because of you.
This coming from the woman who posted Of Montreal in her play list. Really? REALLY??
(and my ver word is OUI which is french for RRRREEEEAAAALLLLYYYYY?!?!?!)
I'll admit, they're hit or miss for me, but that song? Hit, hit, hit.
Let's pretend we don't exist
Let's pretend we're in Antarctica
