If you haven't heard of The Lower Lights it's probably because that rock you've been under was far more expansive than we had all figured.
I was sold on The Lower Lights when I heard that Mindy Gledhill, Deb Fotheringham, and Scott Wiley were involved. I love American traditional music, and to hear hymns, traditional and LDS, stripped down to their purest melodies and harmonies, I was sold again. So basically, I bought The Lower Lights twice. Worth every penny. I blast the hymns full force after Sunday services while I rustle up grub for the little ones. Your individual usage may vary.
Want a peek into the making of? I found this video on the YouTubes!
And what do I have for you? A hot little copy! Happy holidays! No need to get me something in return (although I never turn down a gift.) Leave me a comment and I'll pick one of you lucky souls--and Heaven knows our souls need saving--to take your own Lower Lights home.

Mmm, that sounds lovely.
Ooh, pick me! pick me!
Ooh. Yes please!
I've listened to that video several times this last month - lovely!
I need this!
"Lower Lights" is one of my all-time favorite hymns, so the end of that video got me all choked up.
*sniff*
I babysat Stuart Maxfield so you should pick me, Carina! I love their music.
I read your blog. You should read mine too. It's not AS good as yours. But we all have aspiriations.
I'm in!
This is on my Christmas wish list in a serious way! But if I won the giveaway I would be able to stop with all my not-so-subtle hint dropping to my husband.
I've heard of them, but I haven't heard them, yet. I guess that makes my rock just weird.
I think you should pick me. Because I really need some good music. And because I'm throwing positive energies at you. And because I love hymns done honest and pure.
Deal?
I am beyond picky when it comes to music but I'd still love to try it.
Congrats (on the babe) and condolences (on the job). My thoughts are with you!
I would love to win. Thanks!
Ohhh! They are one of our new favorites.
I often skim over posts like this, but I clicked play on the YouTube video & listened while I surfed.
Needless to say I am more impressed than I ever would have thought. I definitely need this album for Christmas! I think I'll buy it now & hope to win a copy from you to gift to a friend.
I want this. The motab isn't cutting the mustard on Sundays.
I want.
I keep meaning to buy this album and then keep not doing it. I would love to win it for free!
Yay.
I like music.
I haven't bought it yet, but I've been playing it on Grooveshark every single day.
So, if I won...that'd be pretty great.
My friend Gert told me about them. I really like their sound.
Ooooh, mememe. Except I feel a little guilty asking you to give me something when you just lost your job.
They are really fantastic.
Ooh, pick me, pick me! :D
Apparently I've been under that rock. But I completely trust you- will listen.
Well, just about every blog I read has been dying over them, so I guess if I want to be part of the cool kids, I will require this CD.
Yes please! I would give it to my mom for Christmas!
Oh, how I'd love to win this CD! Such gorgeous music.
Yo quiero, pa fort.
I'm not under a rock but I haven't done anything about listening to them yet. I'll let you fix that for me if you want.
