This is More Safe

Lulu hated sledding.

She cried while walking up the hill.

She screamed and yelled, "NOOOO!" all the way down.

Twice.

She chose to walk away from us laterally, picking her way over the snow in her little pink boots, where the wind drifted her words back to us, "This is safe. This is more safe."

For a girl who jumps off the sofa whenever she can, and dives down the stairs, sledding was too much.
